5. Capitalism: problematic or benign?

Economically, capitalism is benign and superior to market manipulation as a new term for the default system of “free market”. Politically, however, it becomes a powerful tool for control of populations. Placing and promoting capital acquisition and materialism to the top of the decision making and motivation pyramid in culture or society…add its use as a method to control populations and consolidate power… Free market economics are benign–sort of the “certified organic” of economics. Communism and socialism are synthetic and based on many false presuppositions. Political capitalism is a disaster to culture, society, and the environment and leads to ultimate social misery.  Economic capitalism is fine but nothing new, while political capitalism is the worlds’ leading problem in the current millennium.
